Thousands of Lake Havasu children scrambled in fun for candy and prizes at the  Community Easter Egg Hunt, on Sunday April 17th at SARA Park.  It was our club’s second year of hosting the event, and it was a smoothly run success, thanks to club organizers Greg Tryon and Bart Wagner.

More than 20,000 eggs were scattered, each stuffed with candy by members of the LHHS Interact club, Havasu for Youth volunteers, Thunderbolt Student Council and members of Big Brothers/Big Sisters.  The concession trailer was active until the power ran out, but

reports were impressive in the short time span at the event.  All members helping set up and clean up made the day run without a hitch. Sponsorships and donations neared $4000, the net profit of the event has yet to be determined.
